Image clarity often suffers in tough conditions, but the premium 1280 × 1024 thermal sensor with NETD < 15mK in the LEAP L12R maintains sharp, detailed images. Paired with an F1.0/60mm lens and a 60Hz refresh rate, it captures every scene with exceptional sensitivity and precision.

 

Classic round display feel

Unlike rectangular screens, the circular 1.03” 2560×2560 AMOLED display offers a familiar eyepiece view for traditional riflescope users. Paired with continuous optical zoom, it preserves image detail, delivering a precise and comfortable shooting experience.

Real-time image optimization reduces foggy or blurry effects caused by moisture, ensuring crisp and detailed visuals even in rain, mist, or humid conditions.

 

Robust and bright lens design

Compared to irregular LRF cuts, the linear “bar-style” design preserves a common riflescope look with a smaller cross-section, increases light intake for greater clarity, and improves impact resistance to reduce lens damage.

 

Closer alignment for more accurate ranging

Unlike external rangefinders, which need setup and calibration, the LEAP LRF is integrated into the lens near the optical axis, providing precise measurements instantly with no extra adjustments.

 

Long-distance ranging with ballistic support

Since long-range shots demand precise aiming adjustments, the built-in laser rangefinder measures up to 1,312 yards and integrates with ballistic calculations to provide accurate holdover solutions. PIP mode further displays corrected aiming points for faster target acquisition. The rangefinder box can be moved closer to the target for less eye movement and a clearer view. 

 

Tactile knobs and buttons

Operating in the dark or with gloves can cause mis-presses. The “3 knobs + 2 buttons” design ensures tactile, reliable control.

 

One-to-one knob operation

Complex menus risk missed opportunities. Each of the three knobs is mapped to a specific on-screen function, reducing menu layers and allowing quick, intuitive operation, even for beginners.

 

Easy lever adjustment

Eyepiece and optional objective lens adjustment levers make magnification adjustments effortless, providing smooth and precise lens control.

 

Metal lens cover

Lenses are prone to impact damage, and the aluminum alloy cover shields both the lens and LRF while staying lightweight and durable. The lens cap closes almost silently for discreet use.

 

Dual battery system for 6.5 hours runtime

LEAP L12R features an internal 4000 mAh battery and supports an external swappable 18650 battery, providing up to 6.5 hours of operation and keeping you in the field longer.

 

Extended detection distance

With a detection range of up to 3390 yards, LEAP L12R can spot distant heat signatures for enhanced situational awareness.
