The new SH2 Keiler is the second generation of the Sauenhammer. The proven concept remains unchanged: the rifle can be brought safely and consistently into the shooting position. The SH2 Keiler is black as night and feels exceptionally comfortable thanks to its new neoprene outer material. The tongue strap has been reduced to a slim width of 2.1 cm, making it compatible with 99% of common sling swivel mounts and easy to install. The tongue features 10 slots, allowing individual adjustment to the rifle, shotgun, and shooter. The SH2 skeleton is made from extremely durable Cordura and polypropylene.

The Sauenhammer concept was developed to make rifles easier to handle and to provide greater control during the shot. By increasing stock pressure by up to 200%, the firearm can be aligned more effectively. The common tendency to anticipate recoil becomes a thing of the past. Especially during driven hunts, where game may appear from any direction, it was important to develop a shooting aid that enables fast and secure shouldering of the rifle.

Another issue solved by the Sauenhammer is reducing rifle movement during the reloading process. Nearly all bolt-action rifles are cocked when the bolt handle is opened. Depending on the system, considerable force may be required to make the rifle ready to fire again. This often results in a noticeable upward movement of the barrel, causing the shooter to lose the target. With the Sauenhammer, shoulder pressure can be significantly increased, allowing for fast, smooth, and stable cycling of the action.

The Sauenhammer is not only ideal for driven hunts but also for supported standing shots or precise shots while stalking. It helps create a stable and highly controllable rifle-shooter system.

Attachment

Using the ten stitched adjustment slots, the Sauenhammer can be individually adapted to both shooter and rifle with the help of a rubber-coated locking pin. It is simply attached to the front sling swivel of your rifle or shotgun.
