The 10x50 Ultralight binoculars

The universal hiking, hunting, and twilight binoculars from DDoptics have also been available in a brighter 50 mm version since April 2016.

Binoculars in 10x50 and 12x50 are less common, as most manufacturers focus on 42 mm models or jump directly to 8x56 night binoculars. However, a high-quality 10x50 combines many advantages.

They are ideal for birdwatching in low light conditions as well as for hunting at dusk or at night. The Ultralight 10x50 delivers surprisingly bright images and remains usable until nearly the last light, while weighing only 797 g.

The field of view of over 101 meters is also superior compared to many other 10x50 binoculars.

Its open bridge design ensures excellent grip and comfort. The prisms and lenses feature dielectric coating for bright, clear images.

Suitable for mountains, coastal areas, and extreme temperatures. The waterproof and nitrogen-filled binocular performs reliably in all conditions.

Field-tested during hunting in late dusk and night conditions, it delivered impressive results. Compared to an 8x56 night binocular, it performed very well until late dusk, with only slight disadvantage in the very last light.

The housing is made from tough, impact-resistant polycarbonate. Critical components such as eyecups and hinge areas use metal alloys.

Precision mechanics
