The All-round Binoculars – The Kolibri 8x42

These binoculars with 8x magnification are ideal for long distances – both during the day and in low-light conditions. The exit pupil of 5.3 mm ensures comfortable, fatigue-free viewing.

With a weight of just 615 g, compact dimensions of 142/130/49 mm, a wide field of view of 126 m and a close focus distance of 2.5 m, the applications are nearly unlimited – from hunting in forests, fields and mountains to observing birds, flowers and insects.

The New Generation

Generation 3 not only features a new design with a slim bridge, but also improved optics. In addition to a completely redesigned optical system, it now includes HDX-FMC coating.

All moving parts such as the diopter adjustment, focus wheel and eyecups are made of durable lightweight metal. Compared to the previous model, the weight has been reduced by approximately 40 g.

A sophisticated phase correction of the roof prism system ensures brilliant, true-to-color and high-contrast images. Even in moonlight or backlight, stray light is minimal.

The HDX-FMC coating used in Generation 3 guarantees impressive brightness and even sharper, reflection-free images right up to the edges of the field of view.

Waterproof, fog-free and focus from 2.5 m

Focusing on the Kolibri 8x42 is achieved via internal focusing. Objects can be sharply focused from as close as 2.5 m.

Even in heavy rain, the binocular remains fully functional. Nitrogen filling ensures that the Kolibri 8x42 is completely waterproof and fog-free.

Full field of view for eyeglass wearers

The Kolibri 8x42 features eyecups with a Z-click system made of durable lightweight metal. These retractable eyecups allow eyeglass wearers to enjoy the full field of view.

An easy-to-adjust diopter compensation is located on the right eyepiece.
