Apochromatic ED lenses with a 45 mm objective diameter provide bright, high-contrast images without chromatic aberration. Like all Pirschler binoculars, DDoptics uses Abbe-König prisms for optimal light transmission.

Exceptional range and precision

Thanks to an advanced pulsed laser, measuring ranges of up to 3 km are achievable. However, actual range depends on external conditions such as air temperature, mirage effect, or the reflectivity of the target. In hot weather (40°C) with strong mirage, maximum ranges may be reduced to 1200–1500 m. The best results are achieved at temperatures below 20°C, e.g., on a concrete building.

Features

The rangefinder display brightness can be finely adjusted in multiple steps to match lighting conditions. Distance can be displayed alone, with an angle measurement, or as ballistic distance including inclination. Units can be switched between meters and yards. Holding the measurement button activates continuous rangefinding.
