The exterior of the jacket is made of ultra-light 15D polyamide with a special DWR impregnation that repels light rain.

The filling of the jacket is made of AIRFLAKE fibers, which are made from 100% recycled polyester and are the synthetic equivalent of duck down. The fibers are just as light and fluffy as down and have a comparable thermal capacity, but they fully recover after being compressed or getting wet and return to their original state when unpacked or dried, unlike duck down. So you can be confident that the jacket will retain its insulating ability even after many uses.
