Nocpix OMNI H35R Multispectral 8K Thermal Imaging Binoculars with LRF
The Nocpix OMNI H35R combines thermal imaging, 8K digital day and night vision, and distance measurement in one premium binocular observation device. While the OMNI L19R primarily excels with its wide thermal field of view, the H35R takes things significantly further when thermal image quality, detail and range are the priority.
At the heart of the thermal system is a 640 × 512 pixel VOx sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch and exceptional thermal sensitivity of ≤15 mK. Nocpix combines this with a fast 35 mm F0.9 lens. The result is an excellent combination of a generous field of view, high thermal detail and a specified detection range of up to 1,818 metres. Geplakte markdown
But the OMNI H35R is much more than a powerful thermal imaging binocular. Once something has been detected thermally, a separate 8192 × 6144 pixel 8K digital sensor with a 50 mm F1.8 lens is available for further observation and more natural assessment of details. In complete darkness, the same digital system can be used as a digital night vision device with infrared illumination.
Detect thermally. Identify in 8K. Measure the distance. One binocular, day and night.
640 × 512 thermal imaging – the difference is in the details
The OMNI H35R features a 640 × 512 pixel thermal sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch.
This higher sensor resolution provides significantly more image information than a conventional 384 × 288 detector. The advantage becomes particularly noticeable when fine details matter or when digital magnification is used. Contours remain more clearly defined and subtle characteristics of observed game are easier to distinguish.
For hunters who not only want to locate a heat source quickly but also demand a high level of thermal image quality, this is precisely where the H35R distinguishes itself within the OMNI series.
≤15 mK NETD – visibility when thermal contrast is low
Resolution alone does not make a high-quality thermal imaging device.
The thermal sensor of the OMNI H35R has a specified NETD of ≤15 mK. This indicates that the detector is capable of distinguishing extremely small temperature differences.
This advantage becomes particularly important when conditions are less than ideal. On a cold, clear winter evening, thermal contrast is often plentiful. During a damp autumn evening, fog, light rain, or when the ground, vegetation and game are closer in temperature, much more is demanded from the sensor.
Under precisely these conditions, a low NETD helps translate subtle temperature differences into useful contours and greater image structure.
35 mm F0.9 – fast optics designed for range
For the H35R, Nocpix combines the 640 sensor with a 35 mm F0.9 germanium lens.
The exceptionally large F0.9 aperture allows plenty of thermal energy to reach the detector. At the same time, the 35 mm focal length gives the H35R significantly greater range than the 19 mm version.
The base thermal magnification is 2×, while the field of view of 21.9 × 16.5 metres at 100 metres remains wide enough to scan a substantial area at a glance.
This makes the H35R suitable for a wide variety of hunting situations, from forest edges and game meadows to large fields and expansive open terrain.
Thermal detection range up to 1,818 metres
The combination of the 640 × 512 sensor and 35 mm F0.9 lens results in a specified thermal detection range of up to 1,818 metres.
Of course, such a detection range does not mean that game can also be reliably identified at that distance. It primarily indicates the range of the thermal system for detecting a heat source.
And that is exactly where the OMNI's multispectral concept begins.
8K digital – from heat source to natural image
In addition to the thermal camera, the OMNI H35R features a completely separate digital imaging system.
The digital sensor has an impressive resolution of 8192 × 6144 pixels with a 1.2 μm pixel pitch. This provides more than 50 million pixels of digital image information.
While thermal imaging is ideal for quickly detecting that something is present, a digital image provides a more natural way to assess what is actually there.
Body shape, coat, antlers, head and other external characteristics are displayed differently than in a thermal image.
The two systems therefore complement rather than replace each other.
50 mm F1.8 digital optics
For the digital channel, Nocpix uses a 50 mm F1.8 lens with a base magnification of 3×.
The digital field of view measures 15.4 × 11.5 metres at 100 metres, making the system clearly geared towards targeted observation and identification.
The high sensor resolution becomes particularly valuable when digital magnification is used. Because the original image contains an exceptionally high number of pixels, more original image information remains available when zooming digitally compared with a significantly lower-resolution sensor.
Digital magnification extends up to 18×.
Three ways to observe with one OMNI
The OMNI H35R is not limited to thermal imaging and digital daytime observation.
Combined with an interchangeable 850/940 nm IR illuminator, the digital 8K channel can also be used as a digital night vision system in complete darkness.
This gives the hunter three different observation technologies:
Thermal imaging – quickly detect heat sources independently of visible light.
8K digital – natural and highly detailed observation when sufficient ambient light is available.
Digital night vision + IR – digital observation when there is insufficient ambient light.
Instead of carrying a separate device for every situation, the different imaging systems can all be used from a single binocular device.
EIS Electronic Image Stabilization
High magnification places demands not only on the sensor but also on image stability.
The OMNI H35R therefore features EIS – Electronic Image Stabilization.
Electronic image stabilization helps compensate for small hand movements. This becomes particularly noticeable when using higher levels of digital zoom, where every movement would normally be magnified on the display.
The result is a steadier image and more comfortable observation when following an animal for longer periods or examining it in greater detail.
0.5-inch AMOLED with 1600 × 1200 pixels
Image information is displayed through a 0.5-inch AMOLED system with a resolution of 1600 × 1200 pixels.
The high display resolution complements both the detailed 640 thermal sensor and the digital 8K channel.
A 12 mm exit pupil contributes to comfortable viewing.
Because the OMNI is designed as a true binocular device, observation is possible with both eyes. Especially during prolonged observation from a high seat or when scanning terrain for extended periods, this provides a much more natural viewing experience than continuously looking through a monocular thermal imaging device with one eye.
Laser rangefinder up to 1,000 metres
Detecting an animal is one thing. Correctly judging the distance is another.
Nocpix has therefore integrated a Class 1 laser rangefinder with a specified maximum range of 1,000 metres.
Distance can be measured directly through the OMNI without having to switch to a separate rangefinder.
Especially in large open areas, in darkness and in locations with few recognisable reference points, reliable distance measurement is particularly valuable.
Integrated ballistic calculation
In addition to distance measurement, the OMNI H35R also supports ballistic calculation.
Based on the measured distance and previously entered data, the system can display additional ballistic information.
The OMNI therefore remains primarily an observation device while bringing important information about game and distance together in one system.
Central zoom ring and four-button operation
Technology in the field only adds value when it can be operated quickly and intuitively.
Nocpix has therefore equipped the OMNI with just four main buttons, separate focusing for the thermal and digital channels, and a centrally positioned digital zoom ring.
Its operation therefore feels more like using a traditional premium binocular.
This is particularly convenient in the dark, in cold weather or while wearing gloves, when a complicated operating menu is the last thing you want.
Internal battery and two replaceable 18650 batteries
The power system is also designed for prolonged outdoor use.
The OMNI H35R combines a built-in battery with two replaceable 18650 batteries. The 18650 batteries can be inserted regardless of polarity, meaning there is no need to check which side goes in first when replacing batteries in the dark.
The specified maximum operating time is up to approximately 7.5 hours, depending on factors such as ambient temperature, settings and the use of functions including Wi-Fi, LRF and IR.
Additional 18650 batteries can easily be carried for longer hunting sessions.
64 GB internal memory, photo, video and Wi-Fi
Special observations can be recorded immediately.
The OMNI H35R features 64 GB of internal memory for photos and video recordings. The system also supports Wi-Fi and app connectivity, allowing stored images and recordings to be accessed or shared.
Nocpix N-Link is also supported.
Magnesium housing for field use
The amount of technology makes the OMNI advanced, but it remains a device designed to perform outdoors.
Nocpix therefore uses a robust magnesium alloy housing. The binocular has an IP67 rating and is specified for operating temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C.
Dimensions are approximately 198 × 144 × 75 mm, with a specified weight of around 900 grams excluding batteries.
A 1/4"-20 UNC tripod connection is also located on the underside.
Where does the OMNI H35R make the difference?
Imagine observing a large field from its edge towards the end of the evening.
With the 35 mm thermal channel, a heat source at long range becomes visible almost immediately. The 640 × 512 detector provides sufficient resolution for further thermal observation of the animal, while the ≤15 mK sensitivity helps retain subtler contours of the surrounding environment.
You can then switch to the 8K digital 50 mm channel to assess available external characteristics in a more natural-looking image.
With a single press of the rangefinding control, you can then determine how far away the observed game actually is.
No separate thermal camera, digital night vision device and rangefinder that need to be constantly swapped.
Detect. Observe. Identify. Measure.
That is what the OMNI concept is all about in practice.

Why choose the Nocpix OMNI H35R?
The OMNI H35R is designed for hunters who do not want to choose between a high-quality thermal imaging binocular and a digital day/night observation device.
The 640 × 512 / 12 μm thermal sensor provides the level of detail required for serious observation. The ≤15 mK sensitivity and 35 mm F0.9 optics provide range and contrast, while the separate 8192 × 6144 pixel 8K digital channel offers a completely different way to further assess detected game.
Add EIS image stabilization, digital night vision, a 1,000 metre LRF, ballistic calculation, 64 GB memory and a comfortable binocular design, and the result is an observation system that goes far beyond a conventional thermal imaging device.
The Nocpix OMNI H35R thermally detects what the naked eye misses – then gives you the technology to better assess what you have found.
