Rugged magnesium alloy housing
A rugged, lightweight magnesium alloy housing has high structural strength, protecting the Krypton 2 from shock and vibration loads, it is resistant to external mechanical, temperature and climatic effects.
The magnesium alloy housing effectively removes and dissipates heat from the electronic components of the thermal imager, increasing the operational stability of the device.
Supreme energy performance. Up to 11 hours of operation on single battery charge
Quick-change rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack IPS7 provides enough power for up to 11 hours of non-stop operation.
On one battery pack the unit can run the whole night without the need to be replaced.

Quick transformation from clip-on to 3x thermal monocular
A few seconds and the new Pulsar 3x20B compact monocular are all it take to turn Krypton 2 into a 3x thermal imaging device.
The bayonet connection ensures that the Krypton 2 is quick and easy to transform from an attachment to a thermal imaging monocular and back in field conditions.
High thermal sensor sensitivity
384x288 pixel @ 17 thermal imaging sensor with NETD <25mK ensures perfect detail recognition even in the hardest weather conditions when thermal contrast is low.
The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during the rainfall, fog or cold mornings in the most difficult conditions for thermal imaging.
Compact and light-weight
Light weight is important when attachment is mounted in front of the rifle optics and ads to total weight of assembly.

Ergonomic Bluetooth remote control
The Pulsar BT wireless Bluetooth remote control completely duplicates the regular buttons.
The remote control is characterized by excellent ergonomics − the buttons activate the most requested functions, while the device parameters of fine adjustment and menu navigation are provided by rotating or pressing the encoder.
The design, size and positioning of the buttons and encoder are customized for use with both bare hands and gloved hands.
It takes minimum movements for a hunter to control the attachment and maintain maximum concentration on the hunting process with the remote control placed in any convenient position on the fore-end or rifle butt.
Adaptable user interface
A new feature for Pulsar thermal imaging attachments is the graphical user interface adaptation.
The device menu and status bar positions are scaled by the user to a comfortable view when changing the magnification of the day riflescope in order to see the current information about the attachment status and operate with the menu in a significant range of magnifications.
Full-HD multicolour AMOLED display
The new FHD full-colour AMOLED display is characterized by high contrast, a wide dynamic range and energy savings.

Quick-release PSP-B bayonet adaptors with precise attachment’s screen positioning mechanism
The thermal imaging attachment is mounted on the adapter using a four-point bayonet.
The bayonet coupling is highly reliable and quick and easy to attach.
The attachment is removed from one adapter and installed on another with no need for special tools, allowing you to quickly and easily turn various daytime optics in the hunter's arsenal into thermal imaging optics.
The precise screen positioning mechanism enables the perfect alignment of the thermal or night vision image in the field of view of daylight optics for maximum viewing comfort.
User mode
Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to maximise the detail and informative value of the image in specific observation conditions.
The User Mode function saves selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal imager immediately, with no additional adjustments needed.

Krypton 2 front attachments feature high shock resistance allowing use with large caliber hunting rifles such as 9.3Ñ…64, .30-06, .300, .375. etc., as well as smooth-bore and airsoft weapons.
Point-of-impact stability
Krypton 2 allows shooters to focus on quick target acquisition and shot placement in low-light environments without stressful, complex adjustments by utilizing a sequential layout of optical and electronic components designed to provide precise sight alignment and ultra-easy adjustability.
Attachment’s design ensures stability of the point-of-impact when re-focusing the attachment at various distances.
Fast aperture germanium lenses
Germanium F50/1.0 and F35/1.0 lenses feature high infrared transmission in the LWIR range.
Due to the high precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the Krypton 2 thermal attachments’ sensors is distinguished for its clarity and detailing.
3 levels of sensitivity amplification
Selection of the signal amplification level combined with new filtration algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments offers the hunter great opportunities for long-range observation in diverse weather and temperature conditions.
Amplification setting helps to define animal’s trophy features and ensures clear rendering of objects and background in the field of view.
Weaver rail mountable
Use the PSP-V Adapter to mount the Krypton on Weaver rail in front of the day sight.
For better pairing with optical riflescopes, the adapter provides two attachment height positions depending on the riflescope lens size and mounting height.
The PSP-V is a quick-release adapter – the attachment with the adapter is instantly mounted on the rail and removed from it thanks to the single-point locking lever assembly.
The adapter is completed with a silicone cover to protect the riflescope lens from ambient light.
Built-in photo and video recorder
The Krypton 2 has a built-in video recorder.
The internal memory of Krypton 2 can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos.
One touch of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording video.
Dual Wi-Fi waveband support 2.4 / 5 GHz
In Krypton 2 thermal imagers, the standard smartphone connection frequency range via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel is complemented with an effective 5 GHz range.
The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, a faster data transfer rate, noise immunity and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imager with a smartphone.
A selection of 8 colour palettes
A choice of 8 colour palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification.
Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night.
Stream Vision 2. Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Krypton 2 to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application.
This opens up a wide range of options including wireless device software updates, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, publication on social media of photo and video content captured by the device or transfer to messengers, remote control of digital device functions and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Moreover, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
IPX7 submersion waterproof rated
IPX7 waterproof-rated for protection from heavy rainfall, snow or other precipitation.
The unit is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Housing, power unit, optics and electronics of Krypton 2 are designed with regard to applications in wide range of temperatures.
